No - I don't know what the title says, but it sounded very Scottish.
Eight days to go and we're off to Scotland, ancestral land of the Clan Davidson (who smote Clan Cameron at the Battle of North Inch of Perth in Sept 1396, treacherous thugs that they were).
Anyway, unlike our recent trips, (the Funmobile can't swim), where I could pack as many gizmos and toys as I wanted, this time I'm reduced to the bare essentials of 2 tablets, 2 cellphones, a sat phone/ tracker, and a Garmin, (all of which are GPS enabled).
To make up for the skimpy technology, I also acquired a detailed atlas and a paper map. (Oh the shame!!) Oh well, Val's happy.
If you really care where we are at any particular moment, below is a link to the live tracker for our upcoming trip. . The site is passworded with the last 4 digits of our home phone to make it a LITTLE more difficult for the entire population of San Quentin to know we're not home.
Next is an interactive Google Map of our tentative route. As usual it's subject to change with or without notice. Click the little gizmo in the upper left corner of the map to see the map legend.
For some reason, the place names sound so much cooler over there. May yur sox be nae boggish.
