One hour ride up to Portland from Salem. A last visit with Jess and Scott, (like they haven't seen enough of us). Funmoble fits very nicely (and completely") into their driveway, and we get to use their showers for FREE!
Mostly routine stuff... Restocking food, laundry, dinners (in and out) ice cream shoppe's, mingling with the natives. Val and Jess disappear one afternoon "in search of pot" for Jess' birthday.

Could gone downtown for the 4th of July Blues Fest and fireworks but opted for a back-yard feast by the Master Chef.
Tomorrow we resume the trek north to Vancouver Island and elsewhere in British Columbia. Expecting spotty internet, so might be pretty sketchy on the Blog.
Hope everyone had a good 4th and will be back on line in a week or two.
