27-30 June - Transition Time

With Scot and Jess headed home we spend a couple of additional days on the coast just taking in some sights, food, and just being lazy:

Stopped at the Evergreen Aero Space Museum to see the "Spruce Goose"

Then on to Salem Oregon for the retirement recon trip.  Interesting town.  Basically a mini-Portland.  Well situated for access to the coast, the mountains, and all points south.  Lots of funky restaurants, (and people).

Would be a significant social/political shift for me, but maybe I need that?

So no off to Portland for a few days with Jess and Scot in Portland and the 4th of July.
